Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026. This policy describes how IronMeshVPN handles information in connection with the service. Qualified legal counsel should review it before you rely on it as final legal text.
IronMeshVPN provides a subscription VPN service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using IronMeshVPN, you acknowledge this policy together with our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
IronMeshVPN is not an anonymous service. We collect and retain information needed to operate accounts, billing, VPN access, and support.
- Account information — email address, password (stored as a secure hash after you set one), subscription status, plan tier, and related account settings stored in our database.
- Billing information — payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive billing-related identifiers and metadata from Stripe (such as customer and subscription IDs, plan status, and invoice references). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- WireGuard and device data — when you register a device, we store information needed to generate and manage your VPN configuration, such as device name, platform, assigned tunnel IP address, WireGuard public key, region preference, and timestamps such as creation and last activity.
- Operational and security data — we maintain server, application, and security logs needed to run the service, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and protect accounts. These records may include timestamps, IP addresses, request metadata, authentication events, and error information.
- Support communications — if you contact us, we retain the content of your message and related correspondence so we can respond and maintain a support history tied to your account when applicable.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the VPN service and customer dashboard.
- Process subscriptions, invoices, and account changes through Stripe.
- Generate, deliver, and revoke WireGuard configurations for registered devices.
- Respond to support requests and communicate service-related notices.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Improve reliability and diagnose operational problems.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not claim to operate with zero data collection. Account, billing, device, and operational records are necessary to run the service.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and dashboard use cookies for sign-in, security, and core site operation. See our Cookie Policy for details on the cookies we use.
Sharing with service providers
We use trusted providers to operate IronMeshVPN. Stripe processes payments according to its own privacy policy. We may also use infrastructure and hosting providers that process data on our behalf to deliver the service. We share only what is needed for them to perform their role.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us through /contact using the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You can sign in to your dashboard to manage devices and open the Stripe billing portal to review subscription and payment details. Canceling a subscription stops future charges; see our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to a consumer VPN service, including encrypted transport, access controls, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of IronMeshVPN after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
